A word about the new Sage Abra HRMS SQL payroll module.
If you are using the Sage Abra Suite Payroll module, the payroll section of the upgrade will require a conversion into the new Sage Abra Suite HRMS SQL payroll product. It has many differences and enhancements from the Abra Suite payroll offering. For the payroll module, retraining of users will be required since the two versions do not function similarly. Here are just a few of the enhancements in Sage Abra HRMS SQL Payroll module:
- Allows payrolls to be run without interrupting HR’s use of the system
- Simplifies time entry and calculations for overtime and shift pay
- Allows piece rate unit volume and sales dollar volume entry and calculates pay
- Supports expanded pay frequencies including 10 per year (Education industry) and 13 per year (Retail industry)
