Mike is a fan of high contact sports. Football and hockey are his two favorites. With their overlapping calendars and hockey’s impossibly long season, Mike has an almost year round sports fix.

When he has friends and family over to watch games he treats them to his latest batch of homemade beer. His kitchen turns into a mad scientist’s laboratory when he brews. Mike loves to try new beer recipes that call for exotic ingredients like heather, cardamom, and citrus zest. Even with his wont to experiment, Mike prefers to brew Belgian ales and English porters.
