Alexander Main

As Vice President of Software Development, Alexander "Monte" Main has led the company's software development organization at Delphia since June 2008. He has brought over 20 years of software development, project management and service management experience, with a proven record of developing innovative solutions to a broad variety of real-world business problems.

Under his leadership Delphia established methodologies for developing structured content web sites on Microsoft .NET including an option to utilize Microsoft Dynamics to maximize content integration across the business. In the HR and Payroll Solutions area, Monte supervises a continuous quality improvement program for HR Actions for Sage HRMS encompassing performance, reliability and usability.

Monte recognizes the challenge facing medium sized organizations with the increasing specialization of off-the-shelf and cloud solutions leading to a corresponding increase in integrations between systems. To address those challenges and in connection with Sage Software's introduction of Sage HRMS, the development team has introduced a series of new products to integrate new implementations into the IT ecosystem more rapidly.

As a Microsoft Partner, the team develops products using Microsoft .NET platforms in C# and VB using ASP.NET and WPF on top of Microsoft SQL Server using the Visual Studio IDE with web client development leveraging the open source jQuery library.

When he isn't working on something software-related (which isn't often thanks to his special double strength coffee), he can be seen riding his Honda Magna motorcyle, hiking, or more likely, reading random articles on Wikipedia.
